Terms of Service

Welcome to Luma. These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Luma's website, web app, and Chrome extension ("Services"). Luma is a product developed and operated by Vinod Priya Sasanka Liyanage, an individual developer (hereafter "the Developer", "we", "us", or "our"). By using Luma, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Luma. By using our Services, you confirm that you meet this age requirement.

2. Account & Data

• You may authenticate using Google Sign-In.
• We store only your email and subscription details on our servers.
• All your folders and bookmarks are stored in your browser (via IndexedDB) and in your Google Drive, under a folder named "LUMA SYNC (DO NOT DELETE)".
• If you delete this folder, all synced data will be lost.
• You can request account deletion at any time. Upon request, your account and all related server-side data will be permanently deleted.

3. Subscriptions & Payments

• Subscription billing is handled securely via Paddle.
• We offer full refunds for requests made within 7 days of initial payment.
• After 7 days, refunds are not guaranteed.

4. User Responsibilities

• You are solely responsible for managing your own synced backup content in Google Drive.
• You must not share your Luma account with others.
• You must not use Luma for any illegal activity.
• You must not reverse-engineer, decompile, or tamper with Luma or its code.

5. Service Limitations

We reserves the right to suspend or terminate your account at any time if we detect abuse, violation of these Terms, or any other misuse of the Services.

6. Intellectual Property

All content, design, branding, and functionality of Luma are the intellectual property of the Developer. You may not copy, reuse, or redistribute any part of the platform without permission.

7. Modifications

We may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of Luma after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

8. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Sri Lanka.
